If you didn’t already know, a vegan diet is one in which any food derived from animals is NOT consumed. This may sound intimidating at first however fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, breads, rice, pasta, vegetable oils, and more are all still on the table. In 2020, almost all meats have a vegan alternative readily available in grocery stores, as well! There’s never been a better time to switch to vegan diets, and the choice is only spiking in popularity.

Usually, I would add a disclaimer for health reasons at this point… but a vegan diet is probably the safest, healthiest diet one can choose. Still, if you have concerns or urgent dietary needs or restrictions it would be wise to consult a doctor before diving into a vegan diet.

It is hard to list out all the pros of going vegan as there are just so many. I would describe it as being a very clean diet. The benefits include increases in energy, sleep quality, skin quality, hair quality, and of course it promotes weight loss.
